Important points to be made after each shooting, before ingesting in an editing software :
– rename shots after each shooting by adding a string providing a unique filename, for example “20211213_Clip01.MXF” if the original file was named “Clip01.MXF” by the camera, and shooting date is the 13th of December 2021.
– move and organise the camera source files in folders named after the shooting date “YYYYMMDD” or “YYYY-MM-DD“
Consistency throughout the whole project is paramount, from the first to the last day of shooting
